An pre-owned Excelsior 1320M 120 Bass Accordion, built in the Italian town of Castefidardo. This full size accordion features 120 bass buttons, 41 treble keys and a four voice musette tuning, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. This particular accordion most likely dates from the late 1960’s or early 1970’s, and has recently undergone a full internal restoration, including having had all the reeds replaced with brand new units from https://www.vociarmoniche.it/ fitted into the original reed blocks (please see pictures attached to this listing), who produce reeds for many of the world’s top accordion factories. Thanks to this, the instrument plays really indeed with a full, rich modern tone that belies its age. The instrument is also in good external condition and is finished in a very attractive pearl red finish.

A great quality Giulietti Classic 47 120 Bass Accordion, hand built in the Italian town of Castlalfidardo. This full size instrument features a four voice musette tuning, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. Giulietti are one of the most highly respected accordion makers, and the high quality full size 120 bass models such as this, are much sought after, especially as the brand is no longer around in its original format nowadays. This accordion would be perfect for all levels of player, and is finished in a very attractive gloss black casework. Unfortuantly there are a few small surface cracks on some of the white treble keys ( a common issue with Giulietti models of this era sadly) hence the lower tha usual price, although they are purely cosmetic, and the accordion is in great internal condition and plays very well indeed.
