A pre-owned Elka 120 Bass Accordion. This full size accordion was built in the Italian town of Castelfidardo, most likely during the late 1970s or early 1980’s. The instrument features 120 bass buttons, 41 treble keys and is tuned to a three voice tremolo setup, making it ideal for most styles of playing. The accordion is finished in a high gloss black casework, and although it plays well, it has been fairly well used over the years, so the case does have a few battle scars here and there, hence the very affordable price.

This classic Hohner Gaelic 96 Bass Accordion, most likely dating from the 1970’s, is a rare and sought after model which was especially designed for traditional Scottish and Irish music with four sets of treble reeds which are tuned to a four voice musette for that typical Scottish sound. The three rows of treble buttons are diatonic (two different notes per button depending on bellows direction) and the insturmnt is tuned to B/C/C#. The 96 left hand buttons are ‘Stradella’ system – the same as most piano accordions. This particular instrument has been well looked after by it’s previous owner and is finished in an attractive pearl red casework.

A pre-owned SEM Ciao 120 Bass Digital Reedless Accordion, built in the Italian town of Castalfidardo by the highly respected SEM factory. The instrument is full size Italian made 120 bass 41 key model, but weighs less then 8KG, which is a fraction of a typical acoustic accordion of similar dimensions, due to the lack of reeds and other parts usually found inside a traditional accordion.
In addition to a wide range of standard accordion sounds, the SEM Ciao 120 Bass Digital Reedless Accordion also has hundreds of built in orchestral sounds such as organs, piano, strings, flutes, brass, synths etc. The instrument also has midi socket for connection to other external midi devices, along with a headphone socket which allows the player to practice silently.
