A pre-owned Excelsior 120 Bass Accordion (with retrofit Musictech midi) built in the Italian town of Castalfidardo by the highly respected Excelsior factory, being sold as seen as part of our clearance section with no guarantee. This full size accordion features 120 bass buttons and 41 treble keys, and would be ideal for the larger player who is looking for a good quality Italian accordion without breaking the bank. The Excelsior 120 Bass Accordion (with retrofit Musictech midi) features a four voice double octave tuning with each coupler having the capability to be engaged individually, making it ideal for most styles of playing including classical, jazz, tangos etc. When it left the factory in the 1980’s, this accordion was originally an “Excelsior Digisyzer” model, meaning that it was factory fitted with what was state of the art 1980s organ electronics in its day, which have long since been removed leaving the excellent quality reeds and making it purely an acoustic accordion. However, the instrument has subsequently been fitted with a retrofitted Musictech magnetic midi system, which is currently working, although due to its age and retrofit status, we do not offer any kinds of guarantees on its continued functionality. This accordion would be ideal for the larger player who is after a full size accordion with good quality reeds at a very resasonable price. Finished in an attractive high gloss black casework.

The Hohner Concerto 72 Bass Accordion is a pre-owned instrument from the highly respected Hohner factory in Germany. This extremely popular West German built model is lightweight and compact and would be ideal for learning on or as a second accordion to travel with. Features include either a bright two or three voice tuning, making this model of Accordion is ideal for folk music as well as most other styles of playing, along with a full and rich bass tone.

A pre-owned Hohner Tango IV P 96 Bass Accordion. This mid size accordion was built, most likely during the 1980’s, in the West German town of Trossingen by the well known and highly regarded Hohner factory. The instrument features 96 bass buttons, 37 treble keys, and has been retuned at some point in its life to a wide four voice musette setup, making it ideal for the Scottish and French styles of playing. The accordion is finished in a high gloss black casework, and did once have an internal midi system fitted, although this has long since been made redundant by the loss of the connections, so the instrument is sold purely as an acoustic instrument.

A pre-owned Elka 120 Bass Accordion. This full size accordion was built in the Italian town of Castelfidardo, most likely during the late 1970s or early 1980’s. The instrument features 120 bass buttons, 41 treble keys and is tuned to a three voice tremolo setup, making it ideal for most styles of playing. The accordion is finished in a high gloss black casework, and although it plays well, it has been fairly well used over the years, so the case does have a few battle scars here and there, hence the very affordable price.
