A brand new Frontini Kerry III 8 Bass Melodeon. This brand new model is the larger brother to the popular Kerry II melodion, and is a very similar two row instrument available in both B/C (ideal for the Irish style of playing) or D/G (perfect for English folk and morris dancing) tunings. The main difference, is that the Kerry III features a third voice, a selectable “bassoon” coupler, which makes it a lot richer with a deeper tone. Finished in a very attractive natural wood case.

A good quality Italian Zero Sette 120 Bass Accordion from the well respected Zero Sette factory in the small hilltop town of Castelfidardo, situated on the Adriatic coast of Italy. This full size 120 bass 41 treble key instrument features a four voice musette tuning, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. This is an “ex electronic” accordion, that back in the 1980’s, the would have featured various built in electronic sounds and effects alongside the acoustic accordion reeds etc, and would have come with a very large and heavy tone generator and amplifier. These days however, the electronic side of things on these models is pretty much obsolete, and the accessories to make them work have long since been misplaced, making the electronics non functional. However, the acoustic accordion side of things on these models are still in good working order, and the reeds and overall build quality of these Italian built models are of very high quality. A pre-owned Excelsior 120 Bass Accordion (with retrofit Musictech midi) built in the Italian town of Castalfidardo by the highly respected Excelsior factory, being sold as seen as part of our clearance section with no guarantee. This full size accordion features 120 bass buttons and 41 treble keys, and would be ideal for the larger player who is looking for a good quality Italian accordion without breaking the bank. The Excelsior 120 Bass Accordion (with retrofit Musictech midi) features a four voice double octave tuning with each coupler having the capability to be engaged individually, making it ideal for most styles of playing including classical, jazz, tangos etc. When it left the factory in the 1980’s, this accordion was originally an “Excelsior Digisyzer” model, meaning that it was factory fitted with what was state of the art 1980s organ electronics in its day, which have long since been removed leaving the excellent quality reeds and making it purely an acoustic accordion. However, the instrument has subsequently been fitted with a retrofitted Musictech magnetic midi system, which is currently working, although due to its age and retrofit status, we do not offer any kinds of guarantees on its continued functionality. This accordion would be ideal for the larger player who is after a full size accordion with good quality reeds at a very resasonable price. Finished in an attractive high gloss black casework.

This extremely popular West German built model is lightweight and compact and would be ideal for learning on or as a second accordion to travel with.
