This top quality professional standard accordion is hand crafted in the Italian town of Castelfidardo by the highly skilled artisans of the Paolo Soprani accordion factory, who are the worlds oldest manufacturer of accordions. This mid size model features 96 bass buttons in a compact and lightweight 34 treble key casework, making it a fair bit lighter than the larger 37 key 96 bass models. The instrument is most commonly supplied with a four voice musette tuning, but can also be ordered with a four voice double octave tuning if required. The accordion can also be supplied in a range of colours, please contact us for further information.

A preowned Borsini Vienna K.9 120 Bass Compact Accordion. This mid size professional quality accordion was built in the Italian town of Castelfidardo by the highly regarded Borsini factory, and features the full range of 120 bass buttons, but in a lighter weight and more compact 37 treble key casework, so is very similar in dimensions to most 96 bass accordions. The instrument is tuned to a four voice musette setup, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. This accordion also boasts a double cassotto chamber, which along with it’s excellent quality reeds, give it a warm and mellow tone on the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot bassoon couplers, which is perfect for jazz and classical. This accordion most likely dates from the late 1990’s or early 2000’s, and has been well looked after by it’s previous owner, being presented for sale in good all round general condition for it’s age. Finished in a very attractive high gloss black casework.

A top quality 96 bass 37 key Cooperativa 96 Bass accordion hand built by the highly respected Cooperativa factory in the Northern Italian town of Vercelli, which is located about half way between Turin and Milan. This is a mid size but professional quality instrument and features a three voice tremolo tuning making it ideal for most styles of playing. A four voice tuning (either musette or double octave) can also be ordered from the factory on request (please contact us for details of the extra costs involved for this version). This Cooperativa 96 bass accordion is finished in a very attractive pearl white casework, and would make a great accordion for all levels of player who are looking for a high end instrument, but without the size and weight of a full size 120 bass.
