The accordion is tuned to a four voice musette setup, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing. The instrument also boasts a double cassotto chamber on both the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot basoon reeds, which gives a very rich, warm and mellow tone when these voices are engaged. This accordion most likely dates from the 1980’s, and is finished in an attractive gloss black casework.

A pre-owned Beltrami 96 Bass Compact Accordion. This mid size compact accordion was built in the Italian town of Stradella and features 34 treble keys with 96 bass buttons. The instrument is fitted with the very finest quality hand made reeds which are pinned on leather and are arranged in a three voice tremolo tuning with five treble couplers and two bass couplers, making it ideal for most styles of playing. This accordion also boasts a cassotto chamber, helping to produce an extremely warm and rich tone. This particular example is less than five years old, and has been very well looked after by its previous owner, being presented for sale in close to “as new” condition throughout. A pre-owned Bell Double Cassotto 120 Bass Accordion. This top quality accordion is a classic model which was built in Italy for the American Bell accordion factory by the highly respected Galanti factory. This full size accordion features 120 bass buttons and 41 treble keys, and is tuned to a three voice LMM setup with a double cassotto chamber on both the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot basoon reeds, making it ideal for the classical and jazz styles of playing. The instrument has excellent quality reeds from the golden age of accordion manufacturing in Italy, and due to being a three voice insturment, is a fair bit lighter in terms of weight compared to the more common four voice models often seen today. The accordion has been well looked after by its previous owners, and also boasts a full internal “Harmonik” microphone system which has been recently fitted, and is finished in a very attractive high gloss black casework.
