Super Paolo 120 bass accordion  (Pre – owned clearance stock)

This full size instrument was made by Paolo Soprani, the first commercial accordion company in Italy, founded in 1863. This particular model was made in the 1980s.

It has five sets of good quality reeds (LMMMH) for the right hand keys & five sets for the bass & chords. There are 15 treble registers + master & 7 bass/chord registers.

2 sets of treble reeds (Bassoon 16′ & Piccolo 4′) are in a separate tone chamber called ‘cassotto’. This  feature enhances the sound of the reeds & is only found on professional, higher end instruments.

This is a big accordion with a big, powerful sound. Full musette, Scottish & European sounds are available from this accordion. A worthy Italian made alternative to the Hohner Morino V.

The tuning is good & casework & bellows are in good condition, with only a few signs of wear commensurate with it’s age.

Comes with a carrying case & shoulder straps.

*PLEASE NOTE*  Our clearance stock has not been fully serviced by us and is not covered by our usual guarantee. We will always try to point out any faults that we are aware of, but we highly recommend that you visit us to see/try the instrument for yourself.
