Hohner Student 48 bass accordion. (Pre – owned.)

This is a great little Hohner Student V 48 bass accordion which was made in the Hohner factory in Germany in the early 1960s & has been internally restored by our Hohner trained technician. It has original German Hohner reeds which have been cleaned, tuned & re-valved plus other internal leather & felt work, so it now plays & sounds as it was when new. We have cleaned the bodywork & replaced the wrist strap & grille cloth etc., but taken care not to over restore it’s good 1960s condition.

These small & lightweight instruments are very popular with folk players because of their bright tone & rugged construction.

It has 2 sets of tremolo  (MM) tuned reeds. & 2 treble tone changes.
