A pre-owned Hohner Sirena I C System 80 Bass Accordion. This mid size accordion is a C sytem Continental Chromatic accordion which features 80 bass buttons, giving a larger range of available keys that can be played in on the left hand side when compared to a 72 bass, at the expense of the diminished row being deleted. The accordion was built in West Germany, most likely during the 1960’s, in the town of Trossingen by the well known and respected Hohner factory. This compact and lightweight button accordion would be ideal for learning to play on, or indeed as a portable instrument for the more advanced accordionist. The instrument is tuned to a fixed two voice tremolo setup, and is in very good condition for its age. Finished in an attractive grey pearl casework.
