Hohner Morino 1V

The Morino range is the longest running high end model range produced by Hohner.  Designed by the innovative  Italian accordion maker Venanzio Morino who was recruited as head designer at the Hohner Trossingen factory from the late 1920s until he retired the early 1950s. He was also involved in the design of free bass, converter & casotto systems. Over the years Hohner Morino’s have been made by several specially selected accordion factories in Switzerland, Italy & of course, Germany.

This Swiss made Hohner Morino 1V has got 4 sets of  treble reeds (LMMH) with the Bassoon & Clarinet reeds in the casotto chamber. It has 5 sets of bass/chord reeds. This configuration makes it ideal for classical & jazz applications.

Very good quality reeds make this particular instrument very responsive to play.
