A preowned Cooperativa Super Ballo 120 Bass Accordion. This top quality accordion was built in the northern Italian town of Vercelli by the highly respected Cooperativa factory. The Cooperativa Super Ballo 120 Bass Accordion is a bit of a hybrid model, featuring 41 full size treble keys and the full 120 bass range, although the casework is no larger than a standard 96 bass 37 key instrument. This is achieved by using Cooperativa’s patented Super Ballo extended keyboard system, which allows for 41 full size treble keys, but without increasing the size or weight of the accordion. Due to this, the Cooperativa Super Ballo 120 Bass Accordion would be ideal for anybody who is looking to save a bit of weight and bulk by going for a more compact and lightweight instrument, but still requires the full range of notes. This particular example was originally sold new by ourselves seven years ago to a long standing customer, and it has been looked after extremely well. This accordion is presented for sale in excellent internal and external condition throughout, and would be ideal for either a professional player, or indeed, the discerning amateur who simply wants the best. This Cooperativa Super Ballo 120 Bass Accordion features a four voice musette tuning, making it ideal for the French and Scottish styles of playing, and also boasts a double cassotto chamber on the eight foot clarinet and sixteen foot bassoon reeds, which helps to produce and extremely rich and mellow tone.
