This mid size accordion was built in the small hilltop town of Castalfidardo on the Adriatic coast of Italy by the highly respected Paolo Soprani factory, who are the worlds oldest accordion manufacturer. This particular accordion most likely dates from the 1980’s, and features 72 bass buttons, 34 treble keys, and a bright three voice tremolo tuning with five treble couplers, mated to a rich and powerful bass tone with two couplers on the left hand side. This Paolo Soprani 72 Bass Accordion is finished in a gloss black casework, and does have a few battle scars here and there, hence the very affordable price. However, although the cosmetic condition isn’t great sadly, it still plays very nicely.
