A full size Settimio Soprani 120 Bass Accordion built in the Italian town of Castelfidardo. Features a four voice double octave tuning making it ideal for the classical and jazz styles of playing.

This is a top quality professional standard double cassotto instrument, most likely fitted with hand made reeds. This Settimio Soprani has an excellent warm mellow tone, and generally plays very well for its age.

However, it does have a few issues, mainly valve noise on both hands and a few tuning issues on the bass side. Please contact us for full details of what needs doing. This could be rectified without too much expense by a competent individual, however we simply just don’t have time to restore it to its former glory sadly, so it is being sold as spares or repair.

Also, the microphones that have been retro fitted to the accordion have not been tested by ourselves, so we can not guarantee that they work, although they may well do. With this in mind, this Settimio Soprani accordion is being sold as an acoustic only instrument.

Despite the problems, this Settimio Soprani 120 Bass Accordion is still a very nice sounding professional standard accordion and would have cost a lot of money when new in its day. An ideal accordion for somebody who is after a quality sound at a very low price and doesn’t mind doing a bit of work.
